Historic ambiance adds character to the stay.
The rooms were much smaller than advertised, and I struggled with a persistent noise from the air conditioning that drove me to distraction. The breakfast offered was subpar. The food was cold and lacked variety, and the limited staff seemed overwhelmed and inexperienced in meeting guest needs.

Opinions found in this hotel. . The hotel is located in an unbeatable location as it is only a few steps away from the most touristy streets of Prague. The facilities are very good, comfortable and charming. The breakfast is very good.
Opinions found in this hotel. We had a very unpleasant experience with a bar official. My mother is a diabetic, so she's insulin-dependent. In order for the medication to work, it must be kept in the refrigerator. As the room had a fridge, we left the medication in it, but to move it from one city to another we needed to keep it in a thermal bag to which we put some frozen gels to keep it at the right temperature. The gels must be in the freezer, so I asked a bar official if he could put them there, to which he replied that he didn't put them in the fridge. I explained to him that the frigobar would not freeze them since the temperature is above zero degrees. He told me that he would then put them in the freezer. The next day when I went to remove them, this official was not there, and another one brought them to me but informed me that they were not frozen since they had never been inside the feezer, but had been left outside it. This episode overshadowed the stay. My complaint was forceful, and well received by the reception staff, who apologized a thousand times and informed me that this unpleasant episode could not be repeated, that they understood the seriousness of the situation.

Wonderful location . all interesting places within walking distance. Very friendly staff, quickly and competently solve all questions and give the right recommendations for restaurants and interesting places. Perfectly equipped room, with excellent furniture and sanitary ware. Free tea, coffee (coffee machine in the room) without restrictions. Full-featured and varied breakfast.
Structurally, there is no elevator to the 4th floor in the building - it is understandable that the hotel is in a historic building - and with heavy luggage if your room on the 4th floor is hard to climb. I would like the concierge to deliver your luggage to your room. Our room on the 4th floor has very small windows, or rather it was one... but the room itself is great, and all day long you still are not in the room...

Very nice staff
We booked two rooms and were given 2 rooms on the attice. No air con on a warm day. No head room and one room is so small that apart from a bed there is no other furniture. The free Internet access in the room is not stable at all for any use.

The location couldn't be any better - absolutely perfect! Literally a few steps from Karlova Street and Old Town Square. 5 Star Hotel - this hotel was perfect. The staff spoke perfect English and was more than willing to help us with anything we needed, even our special requests. This hotel is the first one I would ever say is underpriced. This is a hidden gem! King size bed, flatscreen tv, desk area, large armoire, full- size hair dryer, etc. My husband and I are both very picky and we didn't have one complaint about this hotel, except that there was no mirror in the room, which is odd. But we did notice 2 screws in the wall, so we think that there was a mirror there originally, but maybe it just broke and hadn't been replaced yet? I would still give this hotel an "11" rating on a scale of 1 - 10. Highly recommend!

Really good Location and Comfortable Stay
The location was a dream, allowing quick access to major sights while providing a peaceful retreat inside. The spacious room was beautifully decorated, and the breakfast spread with fresh pastries was a fantastic start to each day. One minor improvement would be to have a mini fridge in the room for added convenience.
